I write about feminism, mental health, immigration and everything in-between.
As a journalist, I spend my days telling other people’s stories. When it comes to my own life, it’s a bit more complicated.
For years I’ve kept journals, scribbling down anecdotes, emotions and conversations that didn’t always make sense. A lot of the time I felt alone, like I was the only person feeling a certain way or having a particular experience.
As I move through life, I’ve realised this isn’t the case. Whatever you’re doing or thinking, chances are someone else has been there already. And future generations will walk down the same path too.
So I decided to share. If my posts entertain even one person, or make them feel less alone, then I’ll have achieved something worthwhile.
